September 6, Indian Summer Festival As has become her custom, Periauger participated again, this year, in Hertford’s Annual Indian Summer Festival, sailing out on the Perquimans River during morning and afternoon excursions. It was a beautiful early September day, but unfortunately very little wind, so Periauger ghosted about the river a little and was rowed around a little.
