September 29, Tarboro, NC: Tarboro History Days (display with masts and sails up, on the trailer)

October 13, Columbia, NC: Scuppernong River Festival

October 18-20 - Edenton for the NC Maritime History Conference (in the water)

December, Hertford, NC: Christmas Parade (on trailer)

Day Sailing Program (In Hertford)

Volunteer skippers and crews will take area citizens who have supported the creation and operation of the Periauger out for a sail on the Perquimans River:

....beginning in June.

Periauger’s participation at local events and exhibitions is dependent upon  volunteer skippers and crew, and we are always enthusiastic to welcome new crew members.  If you are interested in crew opportunities, to propel and handle the boat or to staff the boat during layover/demonstration days, or to provide shore-side support, please contact John Ernst, Don Johnson or Janet Benton.
